Shane Hostetler who also sells his salmon to the public (you may contact him at (253) 884-3148). The 7th Annual Salmon Bake was held on, Saturday, July 28th 2007.
We had our 7th annual Longbranch Community Church Salmon Bake, Its down-home community atmosphere and new additions made this event even more unique. An array of community organizations with awareness booths detailing local programs and services were on hand. A hay ride was added to service both the young and the old, We also had our very own accordion player. “This represents country living at its best” says Glen Ehrhardt chair person for this year’s salmon bake. “We wanted to enhance the participation of younger folks as this event was tailored for the good of the community.” A fully stocked trout pond with various fishing contest for all ages once again showed real excitement. The pond was stocked with 350+ trout, some weighing in as much as 4 pounds. “We felt this really tied in well with the overall theme”, Ehrhardt adds. The state salmon hatchery was also involved in this collaborative effort along some 300 conservation hand-out posters. Once again we had a variety of free musical entertainment along with an eBay silent auction that was very cool with awesome deals. You didn’t want to miss.

Saturday, July 28th Pre-sale tickets were $12 in advance, $14 the day of. Children 6 -12 were $5 and free for those 5 and younger. Charboneau Construction, Sunnycrest Nursery, Firehall Beads, Home Store, Dave Ahrens Coast to Coast Hardware, and the Longbranch Marina were supporters of this years Longbranch Community Church fund raiser.
